Dataset use and attribution terms
These terms apply only to the Registry-authored layer of a dataset or release that links to this page. They do not claim ownership of the underlying federal observations.
Permission
To the extent Colorado Outdoor Estates Registry owns copyright or related rights in its original dataset material, the Registry grants a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to copy, share, quote, and adapt that material for lawful editorial, research, educational, and commercial uses, subject to the conditions below.
Required attribution
Credit the Colorado Outdoor Estates Registry, name the specific index or release, link to its canonical source page, and identify the release date or period. When practical, use this form:
Colorado Outdoor Estates Registry, [dataset or index title], [release period], [canonical URL].
- Link to this Version 1.0 license.
- State when Registry-authored material has been modified.
- Keep source periods, methods, and material limitations attached.
- Separate Registry analysis from the named government observations.
What this license does not cover
This license does not apply to underlying BLS, U.S. Census Bureau, or other third-party material; agency emblems, seals, logos, or trademarks; or facts and methods that copyright law does not protect. Those materials remain subject to their applicable source notices.
Integrity and endorsement
- Do not present an altered result as an unchanged Registry release.
- Do not remove a material limitation or turn a planning indicator into a project estimate.
- Do not imply sponsorship or endorsement by the Registry, BLS, Census, Labor, Commerce, or another source agency.
- Do not use the material unlawfully or to attempt to identify a protected survey respondent, household, or business.
Source-agency notices
The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that its published material is generally public domain in the United States, requests source attribution, and separately protects its emblem. Review the official BLS copyright information (opens in a new tab).
Census Bureau employee-created data and works generally are not subject to copyright protection in the United States, although foreign-country and third-party rights can differ. No warranty or professional advice
Dataset material is provided as published, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. It is educational planning information, not a bid, appraisal, forecast, legal opinion, architectural or engineering service, permit determination, or property-specific professional advice.
Version and questions
Version 1.0 applies to dataset releases that expressly link to it. Later terms will use a different versioned URL and will not silently replace this page for an already published release. Questions or permission requests may be sent to info@coloradooutdoorestates.com.
